A physical exam allows your provider to evaluate your overall health. Most physicals involve preventative care measures to support your ongoing well-being. At Ahmed Family Practice, we offer physicals in Metro Atlanta for patients who want to stay on track with their health.

What to Expect

Consultation

Whether it’s time for your annual physical or you need a checkup, your provider will sit down with you to discuss your medical history and answer any questions you may have.

Exam

During your physical, your provider will perform a series of diagnostic tests. We check your heartbeat, eyes, ears, and more. We also will perform blood work to better understand your health.

Results

The results of your blood work generally take 7 to 10 business to come back. Your provider will review your results with you, ensuring you understand what they mean for your health.
