How should I prepare for my Emface treatment?

There isn’t much you need to do to prepare for Emface, but we go over detailed instructions in your consultation. Generally, we ask that you make sure that you drink plenty of water in the days following up to your appointment. This helps ensure that the electrical stimulations can effectively pass through your skin. We also request that you arrive at your appointment with clean skin, free of makeup or lotion. You should remove all metal jewelry prior to your treatment. Otherwise, though, any preparation will be minimal.

What should I do or not do after getting Emface?

You can return to your normal activities immediately after Emface, but there are a few simple aftercare steps you should follow: Continue to drink plenty of water for optimal hydration. Use gentle skincare products for the next few weeks. Do not apply makeup until at least 12 hours after your treatment. Do not expose your skin to hot environments, like hot tubs or saunas.

Are there any contraindications for Emface?

Most patients can receive an Emface treatment; however, there are a few contraindications. If you have a metal implant or a pacemaker, you may not be able to receive treatment.
